Lehman College of the City University of New York invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in the Department of Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences. The position requires a Ph.D.

in communication sciences and disorders or related discipline, with ASHA CCC-SLP preferred and NYS licensure eligibility. Located in the Bronx, Lehman College is a Hispanic-Serving Institution serving 10,000+ students.

Formación

• Ph.D. in Communication Disorders and Sciences or equivalent.
• Evidence of an established or developing scholarly agenda.
• Ability to teach successfully and cooperate with others for the good of the institution.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Experience teaching online, hybrid and/or in-person modalities.
• Clinical experience in speech-language pathology and supervision.
• Experience advising undergraduate students and supervising practicum work and fieldwork.
• Clinical or teaching experience with linguistically and culturally diverse populations.
• Expertise in fluency, dysphagia, speech science, motor speech disorders, audiology, or AAC is a plus.
• Bilingual is a desirable skill for the position.
