Burke & Herbert Bank & Trust in Rainelle, WV is seeking a Customer Service Teller to perform various teller duties from the branch, including deposits, checks, and payments, while delivering excellent service and cross-selling banking products.

This full-time role requires strong math, clear communication, and a customer-focused mindset, with duties conducted in a clerical office setting at the branch location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Sales and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience handling United States currency preferred.
• Basic Computer Skills required.

Responsibilities

• Processes deposits, checks, and payments; ensures proper endorsements.
• Adheres to check cashing and authority policies per Reg CC.
• Issues cashier's checks and redeems Savings Bonds.
• Reconciles cash and transactions; reports daily balance through teller sheet.
• Maintains a neat, secure work area and safeguards confidential records.
• Sells and/or refers bank products and services to customers.
• Maintains correct currency/coin in the drawer.
• Follows security procedures and post-robbery protocols.
