Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Must be willing to learn new systems and adapt to emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with opening and closing the branch.
• Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amount, and examine checks for endorsement.
• Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Balance cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Enter customer’s transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift; verify totals.
