Job summary

The Middletown Township Public Library is seeking a fun, energetic, and creative Full Time Teen Librarian. This role reports to the Adult Reference Manager and requires excellent computer, communication, and customer service skills.

The position includes programming, collection development, and collaboration with local schools to enhance teen services. Compensation is $35.68 per hour under CWA Local 1032, with PTO and health care benefits.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Library or Information Sciences from an ALA-accredited program.
• Professional Librarian certification issued by Thomas Edison State University.

Responsibilities

• Programming, collection development, and collaboration with local schools and agencies to enhance teen services.
• Plans and coordinates teen services and programs, including the summer reading program and youth volunteer program.
• Work at the public desk in the Adult Reference Department during the week and on scheduled evenings/weekends.
