BCIT – Westampton Campus is seeking a full-time Teacher Assistant to support classroom instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics and assist teachers in delivering effective lessons for young adults. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and related coursework or credentials, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and two years of college study or an associate's degree, or meeting rigorous standards via an exam (Para Professional Praxis Exam).
• Knowledge of classroom practices and ability to assist with instructional activities.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working with young adults preferred.
