In This Role, You Will:

• Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities
• Help maintain a healthy and safe learning environment
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff
• Learn and engage with the Montessori philosophy
  
  

We?d Love to Hear From You If You:

• Love to learn and are passionate about early childhood education
• Hold a CDA or a Bachelor's degree (Early Childhood Education preferred)
• Have experience working with children ages 4 months to 6 years
• Have worked in a daycare, nursery, or aftercare setting
  
  

Duties

• Assist in the implementation of curricula activities and encourage participation by children.
• Actively engage in activities; manage cleanliness, maintenance, and availability of classroom materials.
• Maintain frequent communications with parents through informal discussions and progress reports.
• Encourage self-help and good hygiene through behavior modeling.
• Help ensure a smooth, daily transition, comfortable changing diapers
• Is able to lift 20lb
• Follow all center policies and state regulations.
• Maintain personal and professional development plans to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional child care experience.
• High energy.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• An understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
