Job summary

Huntley Community School District 158 seeks a Paraprofessional - Program Aide at Marlowe Middle School to support students with special needs, assist with academics, and help maintain safety within a structured daily schedule.

This 10-month, full-time position starts immediately. The role involves assisting the teacher, completing classroom tasks, and helping students meet their IEP goals; prior ELS or PEL licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an ELS (Paraprofessional) license or PEL.
• Good written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate with staff, parents and students.
• Basic math and computer skills as well as some general office skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with special needs throughout the day with academics and daily school routines.
• Assist the students in following a strict schedule and maintaining safety while school is in session.
• Assist the teacher with miscellaneous classroom tasks and support the students to meet IEP goals.
