Job summary

Compass Church in Batesville, Arkansas, is seeking a full-time Student Minister to lead and disciple our Junior High and Senior High students. The role centers on loving Jesus, investing in students, teaching God's Word, and developing leaders within a local church context.

The ideal candidate will build authentic relationships, partner with parents, recruit volunteers, and plan weekly ministry, retreats, camps, and mission opportunities while aligning with the church's mission.

Qualifications

• Growing relationship with Jesus and life reflecting ministry leadership.
• Commitment to Scripture and ability to teach God’s Word to students.
• Ability to connect with Junior High and Senior High students.
• Discipleship as core goal of student ministry.
• Willingness to invest in students beyond weekly meetings.
• Value parents as partners in discipleship.
• Ability to recruit, equip, encourage, and lead volunteers.
• Develop student leaders and provide service opportunities.
• Plan and lead weekly ministry, retreats, camps, and mission opportunities.
• Work well with pastors, elders, staff, parents, and volunteers.
• Be part of life and mission of the entire church.
