As a Store Manager Trainee, you’ll train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. Responsibilities include supervising daily store activities, ensuring store performance, staffing, scheduling, developing operational plans, and mentoring the team.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 45 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $30.25/hour
• Potential Year 1 Earnings: Up to $103,000 (including salary and bonus, varies by location)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ALDI's core competencies and professional skills
• Supervise daily operations and team performance to deliver excellent customer service
• Communicate and model company values to foster teamwork
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues
• Maintain store signage and product quality
• Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff
• Manage schedules, conduct meetings, and identify development opportunities
• Achieve payroll and loss budgets
• Manage cash audits and monitor competitive environment
• Provide product feedback and ensure store safety and cleanliness
• Oversee merchandising and inventory management
• Comply with company policies and maintain confidentiality

Physical Demands

• Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform store duties requiring standing, bending, reaching, and walking

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older
