As a Store Manager Trainee, you’ll train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. Responsibilities include supervising daily store activities, ensuring store performance, staffing, scheduling, developing operational plans, and mentoring the team.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 48-50 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $30.25/hour
• Potential Year 1 Earnings: Up to $103,500 (salary + bonus)

Travel within a 50-mile radius of Union City, GA, is often required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and team performance to deliver excellent customer service.
• Communicate and embody company values to foster teamwork.
• Handle customer concerns and resolve issues.
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness.
• Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
• Manage schedules, conduct meetings, and identify development opportunities.
• Achieve payroll and loss prevention goals.
• Manage cash audits, monitor competitors, and provide product feedback.
• Ensure a safe environment and proper store merchandising.
• Conduct inventory counts and adhere to company policies.

Physical Demands

• Stocking, lifting (up to 45 lbs.), and store maintenance tasks.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk regularly.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Ability to interpret policies, set goals, and evaluate performance.
• Experience with budgeting, personnel costs, and operating equipment.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking.
• State and local alcohol handling requirements.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 years retail experience, management preferred.

Flexibility to travel within divisional locations during training.
