Join to apply for the Full-Time Store Manager Trainee role at ALDI USA.

As a Store Manager Trainee, you’ll train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. Responsibilities include supervising daily store activities, ensuring store performance, staffing, scheduling, developing operational plans, and mentoring the team.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 45 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $28.50/hour
• Potential Year 1 Earnings: Up to $105,500 (salary + bonus)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate company competencies and professional skills.
• Supervise store operations and team performance.
• Communicate and model company values to foster teamwork.
• Handle customer concerns and maintain store standards.
• Assist in hiring, scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and development of staff.
• Achieve payroll and loss budgets.
• Manage cash audits and monitor competitive environment.
• Provide product feedback and oversee merchandising and inventory.
• Ensure safety and maintain store equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

• Stocking, lifting (up to 45 lbs), and store maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Ability to interpret policies, manage performance, and operate store equipment.
• Meet state requirements for handling alcohol (if applicable).

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 3 years retail experience, management experience preferred.

Travel

• Must be flexible to travel between locations during training.
