As a Store Manager Trainee, you’ll train on all aspects of successfully running a store in preparation for managing your own store. Responsibilities include supervising daily store activities, ensuring store performance, staffing, scheduling, developing operational plans, and mentoring the team.

Position Details

• Type: Full-Time
• Hours: 45 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $28.50/hour
• Year 1 Earning Potential: Up to $102,000 (salary + bonus)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate company values and professional skills
• Supervise store operations and team performance
• Communicate company strategy and core values
• Handle customer concerns and ensure resolution
• Maintain store signage, product quality, and freshness
• Assist in hiring and training staff
• Manage schedules and performance expectations
• Conduct store meetings and performance evaluations
• Achieve payroll and loss budgets
• Manage cash audits and monitor competitive environment
• Provide product feedback and maintain a safe environment
• Oversee merchandising, inventory, and store policies
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

• Ability to stock, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform store duties

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old
• Ability to work independently and in teams

• Experience with budgeting and operating equipment

• State and local alcohol handling requirements

Education & Experience
