Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail and food store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, restaurant management and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team, managing inventory, and ensuring that the store meets its sales goals while maintaining a positive environment.

Our shop has proudly served the community for over 25 years and is a beloved destination for both our local neighbors and seasonal visitors. We feature a vibrantretail boutique, offer delicioussandwiches, coffee, and ice cream, and are known for our warm, welcoming service. We are offering salary plus housing for this position.

Duties

• Lead and motivate store staff to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Manage daily operations, including inventory management, cash register operations, staff management and retail merchandising.
• Conduct employee orientation and training to ensure staff are knowledgeable about products and services.
• Oversee shift management to ensure efficient workflow and optimal staffing levels.
• Negotiate with suppliers for purchasing inventory and managing stock levels effectively.
• Implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales opportunities within the store.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare reports for upper management regarding store performance metrics.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment for customers.
