ALDI USA in Minnesota is hiring a Store Associate to merchandise and stock products, cashier, and keep the store clean to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will work with the ALDI team to provide outstanding customer service and support store operations.

The role offers full-time hours with an average of 30+ hours per week and a starting wage of $20.00 per hour, with annual increases through Year 5.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks, handheld devices, computers, etc.
• Ability to follow ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic arithmetic proficiency for transactions and inventory.
• Ability to work independently or with others and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Uses POS system to scan and process purchases and report scanning concerns.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional check lanes as needed to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly following planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and ensure timely delivery to customers’ vehicles.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency and total loss goals.
• Complies with company policies and processes.
• Supports a safe working environment by identifying hazards and maintaining equipment.
• Adheres to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Performs general cleaning tasks to company standards.
