Job summary

ALDI USA in Minneapolis is seeking a Store Associate to help with merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store looking its best. You’ll enhance the customer shopping experience by working collaboratively with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full-Time.

Average Hours: 30+ hours per week. Starting Wage: $20.00 per hour. Wage increases in Years 2–5 up to $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate all store equipment such as cash registers, pallet jacks, and handheld devices.
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Properly utilizes the POS system to accurately scan and process purchases and informs management of issues.
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures.
• Follows the line policy and opens additional check lanes as required for efficient checkout.
