Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring a store associate in Florida to merchandise and stock products, cashier, and perform cleaning to keep the store looking its best. You’ll enhance the customer shopping experience by working with the ALDI team and delivering exceptional customer service.

This is a full-time role with average 30+ hours per week and a starting wage of $19.00 per hour. Wage increases occur annually, reaching $21.00 per hour by Year 5, with a comprehensive benefits package for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Operate store equipment including cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks and handheld devices.
• Follow ALDI operating policies and procedures with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Inform store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Use POS system to scan and process purchases and report scanning issues.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional check lanes as needed for efficient checkout.
• Stock shelves and displays neatly following planograms to maximize sales.
• Complete curbside pickup orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist management to achieve operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Identify hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Adhere to inventory procedures and product handling guidelines.
• Perform general cleaning tasks to company standards.
