Job summary

This full-time role offers an average of 30+ hours per week with starting wage of $19.50 per hour and planned increases through Year 5 to $21.50. The job requires strong communication, basic arithmetic, and the ability to operate the POS system.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate store equipment such as cash registers, floor scrubber, pallet jacks and computers.
• Ability to interpret ALDI operating policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and follow instructions with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Models and fulfills all customer service principles and escalates concerns to store management as necessary.
• Inform store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products.
• Utilize the POS system to scan and process purchases accurately.
• Adhere to cash policies and procedures.
• Open additional check lanes as required to ensure efficient checkout.
• Stock shelves and displays neatly following merchandising planograms.
• Complete curbside pickup orders and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Maintain zone and merchandising standards at all times.
• Assist store management in achieving operational and loss goals.
• Comply with company policies and provide a safe working environment.
