As a Store Associate, you’ll be responsible for merchandising and stocking products, cashiering, and cleaning to keep the store looking its best. You’ll enhance the customer shopping experience by working collaboratively with the ALDI team and providing exceptional customer service.

Position Details:

• Type: Full-Time
• Average Hours: 32-40 hours/week
• Starting Wage: $18.50/hour
• Wage Progression: Year 2 - $19.00, Year 3 - $19.50, Year 4 - $19.50, Year 5 - $20.50

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
• Process customer purchases, perform cleaning, stock shelves, and merchandise displays
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team and management
• Contribute to inventory counts and monitor stock accuracy
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses
• Follow company policies, ensuring security and confidentiality
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

• Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, and perform physical activities like sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older
• Ability to deliver prompt, courteous service and operate cash registers
• Ability to operate equipment safely
• Ability to perform cleaning duties and interpret company policies
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
• Ability to meet state and local requirements for handling alcohol (if applicable)

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail experience preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable
