Job summary

Williams Lumber is seeking a Store Associate for our Tannersville, NY store. The role involves engaging customers, stocking and merchandising, and assisting with orders and inquiries. This is a full-time, on-site position with a salary range of $17.00 to $17.50 per hour.

Under supervision of the Store Manager or Department Head, you will help customers find products, transfer stock from back-stock, and maintain store appearance. Previous experience is not required but helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or related experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak effectively with customers.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and assisting in locating products.
• Stocking shelves and merchandising products.
• Process customer orders and handle phone inquiries.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize back stock.
• Communicate pricing and stock issues to supervisor.
