Job summary

Creekside Care Center in Ohio is seeking a compassionate STNA to join our day shift team. You will provide direct nursing care under supervision, assist with daily resident needs, and document observations in a timely and respectful manner.

We value empathy and strong teamwork as you collaborate with nurses and other staff to maintain residents' dignity and well-being in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current, unencumbered STNA certification in Ohio.
• 2 years of long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to applicable state and federal regulations, facility policies and procedures, and prudent nursing judgment under the direction of a nurse.
• Perform resident care duties as assigned by charge nurse, including transporting and transferring, restocking resident room, changing linen, positioning, bathing, assisting with eating and hydration, taking vital signs, and other care as needed.
• Document and report observations and care delivered to residents to the nursing supervisor promptly.
• Ensure that nursing interventions are performed in a timely manner.
• Provide care in a professional, courteous manner, respecting resident dignity and privacy.
• Utilize the facility’s policies and procedures and coordinate nursing services with other resident services.
