Responsibilities

Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing care plans following standards.
Deliver rehabilitative treatment for communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Evaluate outcomes and modify services; refer as needed.
Provide counseling to patients, families, and other providers regarding speech disorders.
Generate comprehensive discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.
