Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses student speech, language, and related disorders via tests and observations.
• Writes assessment reports to communicate results to families.
• Develops and implements IFSP/IEP for students with speech/language impairments.
• Consults with/coach teachers and parents regarding speech/language skills development.
• Collaborates with staff and families to support communication skills.
• Serves as a resource to families/school personnel in selecting materials for communication needs.
• Maintains data on students in speech/language therapy.
• Participates in IFSP/IEP team meetings and addresses language goals.
