The Villas at Sunny Acres in Thornton, CO is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team. The role offers a stable schedule with a focus on geriatric care and a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, treating, and discharging patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, while ensuring regulatory compliance and family counseling. Licensure and ASHA CCC/CFY eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
• Must hold current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or be qualified for Clinical Fellowship Year.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders, developing appropriate care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatment to patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes, modify services based on patient evaluation and referrals as needed.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers and other providers.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries in adherence to regulatory requirements.
