Job summary

Lee College seeks a Full-Time Instructor of Speech Communication (Dual Credit) for Spring 2027. The person will teach on-site, off-site, and online courses for ISD partners, travel within the Lee College service area, and meet certification requirements.

The role may include evening/weekend classes and distance education delivery. A Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in Speech Communication is required, with Blackboard LMS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Communication or related field with eighteen graduate hours in Speech Communication.

Responsibilities

• Teach freshmen and sophomore Speech Communication courses for Dual Credit with ISD partners.
• Maintain accurate student records in Lee College systems.
• Teach assigned classes in keeping with syllabi and materials.
• Submit required reports to Admissions & Records on schedule.
• Provide guidance and support to students as needed.
• Be on campus 35 hours per week and participate in committees and professional activities.
• May teach evening, weekend, summer, online, hybrid, or distance education courses.
