Job summary

Boothby Therapy Services LLC in Wakefield, NH, seeks a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time, school-based role supports K-1 students and offers collaborative work with a supportive team.

You will design and implement individualized instruction, develop IEPs, adapt materials, and work with families and multidisciplinary staff to help students grow academically, socially, and behaviorally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• NH Special Education Teacher certification or eligibility.
• Experience or interest in working with diverse learning needs.
• Strong instructional planning, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, student-centered approach to teaching.
• Genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and specially designed instruction to students receiving special education services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and learning materials to meet diverse student needs.
• Support students' academic, social-emotional, behavioral, and functional development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings, progress reviews, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Use evidence-based instructional practices and interventions to support student growth.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate student achievements.
• Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and empowered.
• Ensure compliance with applicable special education regulations and district requirements.
