Job summary

Vista College Prep seeks a dedicated Special Education teacher to foster inclusive learning and implement IEPs and 504 plans. You will work with a team to support students on caseload and coordinate with related service providers to ensure appropriate accommodations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education; Special Education certification required.
• Ability to obtain IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience implementing IEPs and 504 plans.

Responsibilities

• Foster positive student relationships through core values and SEL.
• Develop and implement IEPs and 504 plans with targeted goals.
• Teach and facilitate school-wide systems and procedures.
• Coordinate with Student Success Team and providers.
• Review student data to address learning needs and accountability.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to differentiate curriculum.
• Participate in annual staff training.
