TheraPeds Partners is hiring a school-based Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Brighton, Colorado. This is a full-time opportunity with guaranteed hours, designated planning and documentation time, a manageable caseload, and support from both TheraPeds and the school district.

You’ll work collaboratively with students, families, and school teams to provide individualized instruction and help students access their education, build skills, and make meaningful progress.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Education, or related field.
• Active or eligible educator certification with Special Education endorsement.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, eligibility, progress monitoring, and procedures.
• School-based special education experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide individualized and small-group special education instruction.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and services.
• Adapt curriculum and instruction to meet individual student needs.
• Collect data and monitor progress across academics, behavior, and function.
• Complete progress reports and required records, including IEP documentation.
• Conduct or participate in educational assessments and eligibility processes.
• Serve as a case manager for assigned students.
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related-service providers, and families.
