Job summary

Community Consolidated School District 89 is seeking a full-time SPAC Aide to support the instructional needs of a student at Park View Elementary School for the 2026-2027 year. The position is five days per week, FTE 1.0, under teacher supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, paraprofessional certification (60 college hours) and experience with Apple computers. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college credit preferred.
• Paraprofessional certification including 60 college credits and ROE approval.
• Experience supervising children in group settings; childcare background helpful.
• Experience with Apple computer systems and office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instruction and classroom activities under teacher supervision.
• Monitor academic and behavioral performance of the assigned student.
• Maintain attendance and student progress logs under teacher guidance.
• Prepare materials and assist with curriculum delivery as directed.
• Support substitute teachers and participate in in-service training.
