MSAD #53 is seeking a Special Education Tech I who is caring, compassionate and patient to join the special education team to work with our students with a wide variety of academic, functional and behavioral needs. The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers to support behaviors and instruction.

This full-time role (32.5 hours/week) offers benefits; requires Ed. Tech I authorization or eligibility and Maine Department of Education fingerprinting. Start date ASAP.

Qualifications

• Ed. Tech I authorization or eligibility through the Maine Department of Education.
• Must be fingerprinted through the Maine Department of Education.
• Full-time 32.5 hours per week with benefits.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with special education teachers to manage student behaviors and behavior plans.
• Support students academically in both regular and special education settings, in small groups and one-to-one.
• Adapt instruction to meet wide range of academic, functional and behavioral needs.
