Zen Educate in Champlin, MN is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support K-12 students for the 2024-2025 school year. The role offers immediate start, a Monday–Friday schedule, and collaboration with licensed teachers to tailor instruction.

Qualifications

• Professional proficiency in English.
• 1-year experience working with children in structured settings.
• US Work Authorization (no visa sponsorship or relocation assistance).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with licensed staff to create a supportive classroom environment
• Work with students to achieve their Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals
• Provide individual or small-group support during activities and assignments
• Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment conducive to learning
• Offer crisis support when necessary to promote student wellbeing
• Use a variety of learning methods to adapt to student needs and enhance engagement

Skills

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or higher OR high school diploma/GED and passing score on Parapro/Paraeducator exam
