Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Sociology or Criminology with at least 18 graduate credit hours in sociology or criminology.
• Two semesters of college teaching experience in the discipline.

Responsibilities

• Effectively prepare, teach, grade, and assess student learning in assigned courses.
• Create a quality learning environment for a diverse student population including students with disabilities or special learning needs.
• Convene classes as scheduled and respond to student inquiries in a timely manner.
• Maintain student records and provide documentation for incompletes within established College timelines.
• Participate in college service including committee work and program/course development.

Education
