Job summary

Seaside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Daytona Beach, Florida is seeking a full‑time Registered Dietitian (RD) to provide individualized nutrition care in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting, supporting residents' health, recovery, and quality of life.

You will assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, educate residents and families, and collaborate with nursing and dietary staff to ensure compliant, high‑quality dietary services.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Dietitian in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Experience in long‑term care or SNF preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Resident‑centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the nutritional needs of residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Create, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide counseling and education to residents, families, and staff.
• Partner with nursing, therapy, and dietary staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Document assessments, progress, and updates in medical records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and SNF dietary regulations.
• Support food service operations to maintain safety, quality, and satisfaction.
