Job summary
Seaside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Daytona Beach, Florida seeks a Full-Time Registered Dietitian (RD) for our Skilled Nursing Facility. You will provide individualized nutrition care to residents, develop and monitor care plans, and collaborate with nursing, therapy, and dietary teams to support recovery and quality of life.
The role requires a licensed RD, a bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field, and experience in long-term care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or related field.
- Licensed Registered Dietitian (RD) in good standing.
- Prior experience in long‑term care or SNF preferred.
- Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Resident-centered approach to care.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate the nutritional needs of residents in an SNF.
- Create, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
- Provide counseling and education to residents, families, and staff.
- Partner with nursing, therapy, and dietary staff for coordinated care.
- Document assessments, progress, and updates in medical records.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and SNF dietary regulations.
- Support food service operations to maintain safety, quality, and satisfaction.
