Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking energetic professionals to install, service, and troubleshoot cutting-edge smart home technology in customer homes. You will train on industry-leading products and explain system capabilities to customers, while managing inventory and driving revenue from service appointments.

We value a sales mindset, a customer-first attitude, and technical aptitude. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; reside within 20 miles of the city.

Qualifications

• Technical comfort with smart home devices is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and troubleshoot smart home technology in customer homes.
• Explain and demonstrate system capabilities and setup instructions to customers.
• Manage inventory and assets with a business mindset.
• Convert appointments into leads and revenue by offering additional products/services.
• Leverage service visits to build ongoing customer relationships.
• Becoming knowledgeable about our products through training.
