Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support school-aged children in the Phoenix, AZ area. This full-time position offers a 40-hour work week and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic educational environment.

The SLPA will work under licensed SLPs to implement IEPs, provide direct therapy, conduct screenings as needed, and collect progress data.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited SLPA program
• Active SLPA license in Arizona or eligibility to obtain one
• Previous experience providing speech or language support in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Collaborative team player with the ability to adapt to diverse student needs

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and small group settings
• Assist with conducting screenings and assessments as needed
• Gather data and document student progress
• Support classroom teachers with strategies to assist students communication needs
• Participate in team meetings and contribute insights for students speech and language development
