Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Valid FL SLP License (FLBSLP) required.
• ASHA CCC required.
• 2–3 years of experience working with students in grades K-12.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication with educators and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services, including assessment and treatment for students with communication disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for K-12 students.
• Conduct evaluations and monitor progress to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication needs.
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports for each student.
• Adapt therapy techniques based on evidence-based practices for diverse learners.
• Support students with complex communication needs in a school setting.
• Handle occasional travel and classroom interruptions effectively.
