Job summary

The Retreat Nursing Home in Monticello, GA is seeking a dedicated Treatment / Skin Integrity Nurse to join our clinical team. This full‑time role focuses on maintaining resident skin integrity, preventing pressure injuries, coordinating wound care, and ensuring treatments are completed and documented accurately.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high‑quality care for residents in our facility.

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in the State of Georgia.
• Wound care experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Wound care certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong assessment, documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of pressure injury prevention and wound management standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document ordered wound care and other nursing treatments.
• Conduct routine skin assessments and monitor residents for changes in skin condition.
• Identify residents at risk for skin breakdown and implement preventative interventions.
• Monitor wounds, pressure injuries, and surgical sites for healing or changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure accurate orders and plans.
