SkipCo. LLC is seeking skilled laborers to support multiple job sites in the Illinois region. This full-time role focuses on hands-on construction tasks, site preparation, and safe, efficient work across diverse trades.

Candidates should be organized, ready to work nights/weekends, and capable of operating power tools and light equipment. Benefits are provided, with emphasis on teamwork and reliability on site.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized with strong time management and work independently.
• Flexible and dependable; able to work nights, weekends, and off-hours as needed.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills on the job.
• Trailer-pulling ability preferred.
• Team player with proactive work ethic and leadership qualities.
• Professional demeanor and strong collaboration with subcontractors and teams.
• Proven background in construction labor across multiple project types.
• Excellent communication for coordinating with teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain construction sites for daily operations; ensure cleanliness and organization.
• Transport materials and equipment safely between job sites.
• Perform manual labor with minimal supervision; follow supervisor instructions.
• Set up temporary structures and site signage; install scaffolding and ladders.
• Operate construction equipment such as forklifts and power tools safely.
• Assist with light demolition and site teardown tasks.
• Assist with carpentry, painting, caulking, electrical and plumbing tasks as needed.
• Maintain and document daily task progress and site safety.
