Job summary

Backcountry Outlet, a CSC Generation brand, is seeking a customer-facing shop professional to deliver gear guidance and maintenance services in-store. You’ll work with ski, snowboard, and bike gear, focusing on high-quality customer interactions and service excellence.

The ideal candidate has passion for outdoor activities, strong communication skills, and shop experience. This position offers competitive hourly pay and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Shop experience and knowledge of shop equipment required.
• Ability to maintain rental equipment.
• Ability to delegate tasks and workload to another shop tech.
• Winter tuning and base/edge repair knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a shop environment with equipment and customer interactions.
• Maintain and service rental gear and bikes.
• Assist in task delegation and assist other technicians.
• Apply winter-specific tune and repair knowledge as needed.

Requirements

• Shop experience and extensive knowledge of shop equipment required.
• Ability to maintain rental equipment as well as customer work.
• Ability to delegate tasks and workload to another shop tech.
• Winter specific knowledge of tuning, base and edge repair, etc.
• Bike knowledge is preferred though not required.

$19.50 - $21 biweekly
