Job summary

Challenge Unlimited, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Shelf Store Worker 1 at the Scott Air Force Base Commissary in Illinois. The role supports the operations team by stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and maintaining a neat, safe sales floor.

Pay is $17.75 per hour with a Thursday-Monday schedule, starting 8:00 pm until finish. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED (preferred), be able to pass background checks, and bring attention to detail and teamwork. Veterans are welcomed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Past work experience in inventory, shipping & handling, or warehouse helpful.
• Must pass criminal background check and state/federal registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and straighten merchandise for sale on the shelves.
• Move merchandise using non-motorized equipment and maintain display areas.
• Keep aisles clean, inventory forms updated, and assist with training and safety compliance.
• Promote a culture aligned with the company’s mission to provide work opportunities for individuals with disabilities and disadvantaged.
