Porsche Charlotte Northlake is seeking a Service Assistant to support the service team in daily operations and ensure a smooth flow of activity across the service drive and customer areas.

The role emphasizes driving, vehicle preparation, and coordinating with Service Advisors while upholding the luxury brand standards and customer service excellence in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record.
• Experience in automotive dealership, valet, or customer service preferred, but not required.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Strong communication skills and a polished, professional appearance in a luxury automotive environment.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and perform light physical work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive, park, and stage customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service drive, lot, and service bays.
• Welcome arriving customers with warmth and professionalism, assist Service Advisors during high-volume periods, and escort clients as needed.
• Inspect vehicles upon arrival for existing damage, install protective seat/floor covers, and run vehicles through the car wash or prep area prior to client pickup.
• Keep the service drive, valet lanes, and customer reception areas clean, organized, and free of clutter.
• Assist with preparing, cleaning, and managing the active shuttle or loaner vehicle fleet.
• Retrieve parts, assist technicians with staging needs, and run errand-based tasks to support daily dealership flow.

Position Overview

The Service Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within our Service Department. In this position, you will support Service Advisors, manage vehicle logistics around the dealership, assist with customer check-in/check-out processes, and ensure that every Porsche entering and exiting our facility meets our high standards of cleanliness and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Vehicle Handling & Logistics: Safely drive, park, and stage customer and dealership vehicles throughout the service drive, lot, and service bays.

• Customer Service & Check-In: Welcome arriving customers with warmth and professionalism, assist Service Advisors during high-volume periods, and escort clients as needed.
