Job summary

Unicoi State Park & Lodge in Georgia is seeking a full-time Server/Bartender to join our hospitality team. Nestled in the North Georgia mountains, Unicoi offers great food, drinks, and genuine Southern hospitality at Smith Creek Tavern and Anna’s Italian Restaurant.

You’ll provide friendly service from greeting guests through payment, take orders, prepare beverages, and help guests discover new favorites, while maintaining a welcoming, spotless dining area for the next guest’s visit.

Qualifications

• Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Nights and weekends are a must; availability to work holidays as needed is also required.
• Must meet all applicable requirements for serving alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive service from greeting guests through payment
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly
• Deliver food and drinks with a welcoming attitude and attention to detail
• Make recommendations and help guests discover their next favorite dish or drink
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting bar and dining area
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
• Follow all responsible alcohol service, food safety, and company standards
• Create memorable experiences for lodge guests, park visitors, and local diners

Our team serves guests at two unique dining destinations: Smith Creek Tavern and Anna’s Italian Restaurant. Whether you're pouring a craft cocktail, recommending the perfect entrée, or creating a memorable dining experience, you'll play an important role in making every guest's visit special.
