Job summary

Spring Arbor Senior Living - Albemarle, is recruiting a Lifestyle Assistant to help plan and lead activities that keep residents active, social, and smiling daily. You will support the Lifestyle Director and assist in coordinating events for all residents and families.

This is a full-time role with meaningful work and a close-knit team. Candidate should have NC Activity Assistant certification, 2+ years in an ALF, a warm personality, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must have NC Activity Assistant certification and 2+ years in an assisted living facility.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21 to drive the company bus).
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for the state of operation.
• Must demonstrate high energy, decision making, problem solving, planning/organization, and rapport-building skills.
• Must have a clean criminal background screening.
• MD/ORM driving eligibility required to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lifestyle Director in conducting and coordinating scheduled activities seven days a week for all residents.
• Prepare and post the monthly Lifestyle calendar and distribute it to residents.
• Facilitate monthly resident council meetings and other meetings as directed.
• Coordinate with community groups and volunteers to support Lifestyle programs.
• Assist in scheduling transportation for residents and drive company vehicles as needed.
• Assess residents’ social and lifestyle activity preferences.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned in the full job description.
