Job summary

RiseBoro Community Partnership is seeking a Transportation Driver for the RB Senior Center in Brooklyn, NY. You will transport seniors 60+ to the senior center, appointments, and planned outings, while maintaining logs and ensuring safety. The role may involve home-delivered meals duties and interoffice mail tasks as assigned.

You must have a valid NY CDL and be able to work day shifts. Prior experience with older adults and bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of one year related driving experience.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick up clients from approved worksheets and transport to and from the senior center.
• Maintain a daily log of clients assisted and trips taken.
• Report incidents or changes in client status to supervisor.
• Provide transportation for appointments and group outings as directed by supervisor.
• Ensure safety and courteous service to riders and drive safely at all times.
• Assist with meal delivery as needed and handle related logs.
