Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time Entry Screening in Flower Mound, TX. You will screen employees, visitors, and deliveries, monitor access points, and report security concerns to maintain a safe environment.

The position offers daytime/evening shifts, an hourly pay rate of $19.58, and opportunities for growth. A strong customer-service mindset and basic computer use are beneficial.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background checks required per law.
• Allied Universal considers applications with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries per access-control procedures.
• Verify identification and authorization before entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies calmly per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
