Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Entry Screening in Columbus, OH to safeguard clients across industries. You will screen visitors, monitor access points, and communicate professionally with students, staff, and guests to maintain a welcoming and secure environment.

Position is Full Time with a pay rate of $19.75/hour. Responsibilities include responding to incidents, patrolling, and enforcing site policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year security-related experience.
• Age: at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be needed by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and screen individuals per site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and with problem-solving approach.
• Screen visitors and belongings according to access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry points and report unusual activity or violations to staff.
• Conduct regular patrols of the premises and perimeter.
