Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Elkton, MD. You will provide security services at a healthcare location, conduct regular patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while assisting patients, staff, and visitors.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, at least 1 year of security experience, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Proof of high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials as required.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
