Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Albany, NY to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. You will perform unarmed patrols, deter incidents, assist tenants, and maintain clear communication with the team.

This driving role requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Requires a valid driver's license.
• State/city security license preferred.
• Must be 18+ (unarmed) / 21+ (armed).
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required by local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, perimeter locations, and surrounding property to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
