Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a security officer for client-site duties in Newtown, NJ. The role involves observing and reporting activities, patrolling premises, and ensuring safety for people and property.

Requirements include at least 18 years old, a high school diploma or GED, and a NJ SORA license. The position starts at USD 19.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, vision, dental, and PTO. Must be able to communicate effectively in English.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Wednesday 5:30am-5:30pm

Pay Range

Starting from USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma / GED required
• Valid NJ SORA License
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
