Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Building Patrol in Los Angeles, CA. You will manage access, monitor entry points, and deter incidents while providing professional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

Responsibilities include patrols of entrances and perimeters, logging access records, and collaborating with site leadership and responders.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, production personnel, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain logs and records.
• Respond to incidents and access-related concerns in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, production spaces, offices, and perimeter areas.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and collaborate with leadership and emergency responders.
